Caravaggio

Milo Manara brings to life the turbulent story of Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio, one of the most important and controversial painters in the history of art.

A biographical comic that balances between light and darkness, just like the paintings of the great Italian artist.

A story that feels like a journey through the life of an artist who lived exactly as he painted: with passion, intensity and an uncompromising spirit.

From the workshops of Rome to his flight, exile and mysterious death, Caravaggio’s life unfolds through a narrative that sheds light on the man behind the legend.
